Description
Lambswool is considered the highest quality of sheep’s wool. It is taken from the baby sheep at its first shearing which is usually when the sheep is about 7 months old. It is also the most hypoallergenic of all wools. Recommend hand wash in cold water and dry flat or dry clean.
Northumberland Tartan, originally worn by shepherds tending their flocks in the Scottish borders. Textile historians have dated a fragment of the pattern, discovered in a bottle near Falkirk, to 270 A.D., suggesting that the pattern was known as far back as Roman times.
