Collection: Anne of Green Gables

Anne of Green Gables is the first in a series of novels written by Canadian author, Lucy Maud Montgomery. The initial novel of the series, first published in 1908, follows Anne Shirley, a spirited, opinionated red-haired orphan, from her arrival in Avonlea, when she came to be in the care of Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, throughout her life until she became a school teacher.

The Anne of Green Gables Museum refers to the Green Gables farmhouse, a historical site located in in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island, Canada. This farm house and its surroundings inspired Lucy Maud Montgomery when she wrote Anne of Green Gables.
