Our Vandal community remains an eclectic mix, embracing a tapestry of cultures and experiences. The Vandal tartan epitomizes this ethos. Marrying traditional Scottish tartan with our Pride Gold and black, and integrating elements like the University of Idaho's founding year of 1889 and Moscow campus' coordinates—46.7255° N, 117.0109° W—we've created a fresh "Banner of Gold" that continues our enduring tradition of innovation and inclusivity
