The Buffalo Sabres are an iconic NHL team with a rich history. Founded in 1970 following a League expansion during the 1970-71 season, the Sabres gained their name through a public contest, with Sabres being chosen as it represents leadership on both opposition and defense. The Sabres played their first game on October 10, 1970. The date of their first game has been used to create the thread counts (width of lines) within the weave of this original tartan: 10-10-19-70.

Our carefully woven pocket scarf is made with Merino wool for an incredibly cozy feel. This oversized piece can be styled tightly for snow or a loose scarf for cool days and features two large pockets. Measures 69"x10" (175cm x 25cm) with two 3" fringes on each side.
