The Rockies are a system of multiple ranges of mountains which run from the Canadian Prairies to the Pacific Coast. The light and dark Browns represent the layered sedimentary rock such as limestone and shale. Green represents the Five national parks that are located within the Canadian Rockies. Red is for the Canadian Maple Leaf which symbolizes tolerance, unity and strength. The small White line represents the snow-covered peaks.
