The Vegas Golden Knights have enjoyed remarkable success since joining the NHL in 2017. They are the first major professional sports team to be based in Las Vegas, and they are the third team ever to win its division in its first year. The Golden Knights played their first game on October 6, 2017. The date of their first game has been used to create the thread counts (width of lines) within the weave of this original tartan design:10-06-20-17.
